Record $2.5 Billion Patent Verdict in USA history Idenix Pharmaceuticals LLC

In a  patent verdict in USA,  a  record $2.5 billion was posed to Gilead Sciences Inc, in favour  of  Idenix pharmaceuticals LLc on 16 th December 2016. Gilead was found to use a patented invention of Idenix, as it was their blockbuster drug for the potentially deadly disease Hepatitis C. This was the second trial between the two companies.
